Green, and Not Just for March
Shamrock is an emerald green base with navy blue and white lines. Green plaid has a long history in field coats, and that is how it behaves here: a working coat rather than a holiday one, useful from October through February.
It is the easiest of our plaids to dress around. Green sits beside the brown leather leash, the black harness and the neutral sweaters without asking anything of them, and it will not clash with whatever you are wearing.

Sizing
Measure the chest at its widest point, right behind the front legs. That measurement matters most.

- Chest 12 to 16 inches. Neck 11 to 13, back up to 9 1/2. Maltese, Shih Tzu
- Medium
- Chest 15 to 19 inches. Neck 13 to 16, back up to 11. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Bichon Frise
- Large
- Chest 18 to 23 inches. Neck 17 to 19, back up to 13. Beagle, Pug
- X-Large
- Chest 22 to 27 inches. Neck 21 to 24, back up to 17. Cocker Spaniel, Dachshund
